Turkish Foreign Ministry announces consultations with Russia on Syria in Istanbul on December 8-9

Political consultations between Turkey and Russia on Syria and other topics will be held on December 8-9 in Istanbul, the Turkish Foreign Ministry told RIA Novosti.

“On December 8-9, 2022, political consultations between Turkey and the Russian Federation will be held in Istanbul between delegations led by Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Sedat Enal and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Vershinin,” the Foreign Ministry specified.

The consultations are expected to discuss the implementation of the UN grain agreement, as well as regional issues such as Syria, Libya and Palestine.
